Integrative Medicine

Integrative Medicine (IM) is healing-oriented medicine that takes account of the whole person, including all aspects of lifestyle. It emphasizes the therapeutic relationship between practitioner and patient, is informed by evidence, and makes use of all appropriate therapies (Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine).

Functional Medicine

Functional Medicine is a systems biology–based approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of disease. Each symptom or differential diagnosis may be one of many contributing to an individual’s illness (The Institute for Functional Medicine).

Holistic Medicine

Holistic medicine is the art and science of healing that addresses the whole person – body, mind, and spirit ( Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine).
